This solid oak library table features a rectangular top with beveled edges positioned over a single wide drawer. The drawer is lined with vibrant red felt and is fitted with two ornate brass swing handles and a central keyhole escutcheon. Below the drawer, a prominent rope-twist molding runs the width of the piece. The structure is supported by four robust bobbin-turned legs, which are joined by an asymmetrical shelving arrangement consisting of a full-width lower shelf and a smaller intermediate shelf supported by a secondary turned post. The shelves feature decorative scalloped aprons. The sides of the table are reinforced with geometric, ladder-like openwork stretchers.
