Description

This is a vertical industrial cabinet featuring 28 individual brass mailbox doors arranged in a 7x4 grid. Each door is embossed with "U.S.", includes a mechanical rotary combination dial, and a small rectangular glass viewing window for box numbers. The cabinet frame is constructed of heavy-gauge steel finished in an olive green industrial paint, which exhibits significant age-related wear including scratches, paint loss, and surface oxidation. A decorative dark-painted crown molding sits atop the unit. Notably, the second door in the top row is missing its glass panel, and several doors show varying degrees of verdigris and patina on the brass surfaces. One door near the bottom center is currently detached or hanging loosely. 48h x 25w x 14d
