Description

An octagonal accent table featuring a deeply recessed tray top with a fixed, raised molded gallery edge. The piece is notable for its construction using exceptionally figured tiger (curly) maple, which displays a tight, consistent horizontal grain and high chatoyancy across the gallery, legs, and stretchers. The interior flat surface of the tray is finished in a contrasting dark mahogany or espresso stain, while the exterior and base maintain a warm golden-amber tone. The base consists of four square-tapered legs that terminate in a gentle outward flare (saber-like). The legs are joined by a complex, multi-tiered geometric lattice stretcher system creating a diamond-patterned 'X' framework. 21h x 29w x 19.5d
