This is a seven-drawer pedestal desk characterized by a serpentine front and slender cabriole legs. The exterior has been custom-refinished in a matte white paint with hand-applied gold accents on the raised scalloped edges of each drawer face. It features seven ornate, brass-finished swing bail handles. The desk surface contains a dark walnut-toned faux wood-grain laminate inset, which is bordered by the white-painted wood edge.
