Description

A utilitarian farmhouse-style chest of drawers featuring a two-over-three drawer configuration. The piece is finished in a deep matte brick-red paint that covers the entire frame and the simple, cylindrical wooden drawer pulls. The construction is distinctly primitive, utilizing butt joints secured with nails rather than dovetail joinery, as visible on the drawer sides. The top exhibits a modest overhang with a squared edge, and the back is composed of three wide, horizontally oriented solid wood planks. Wear is visible on the edges and corners where the red finish has rubbed away to reveal the natural light-colored wood beneath. 49h x 43w x 15.5d
