The drawer fronts are distinguished by unique incised geometric decoration, featuring diagonal bands containing three small circles on either side of a central rhomboid-shaped burl veneer inlay. Each drawer is equipped with a central keyhole and two ornate cast metal bail pulls. The piece is crowned with a thick, square-edged white marble top with grey veining, which shows a circular reddish-brown stain on the right side. The sides of the chest are simple recessed panels, and the base is a solid plinth with small decorative cutouts at the feet.
